Helix Nano is an innovative biotech company that spent the last two years developing cancer vaccines. Now using their knowledge they are working on fighting Covid-19. I have been asked to come up with new and unconventional idea for their brand identity. I created illustrations inspired by old biologic drawings in colors borrowed from microscope images and combined it with futuristic font.
The inspiration for the illustration style comes from three sources: vintage biology drawings, microscope imagery, and the chiaroscuro technique - using a contrast between light and dark to create depth. Colors are based on microscope imagery. Objects are shown in vivid colors on dark backgrounds.
